I don't see the world through rose-colored glasses
In fact my glasses are
Quite black
If I have any offended
Or covered their lives
With wings of black
I wish I could have all-repented
Wish that I could take it back
I often wonder
Where I came from
Why life on earth
To be my fate
If I've brought joy
I cannot see it
My smiles quickly turn to frowns
Oh well- daylight
Cannot last forever
Maybe darkness is my fate
But even through my resignation
I weep at night, plead for my soul
